It is in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards that you will find winemakers passionate about life who place the vine and nature at the center of their activity. Located in Cestayrols, 20 minutes from Gaillac, Château de Vignals is more than a wine estate; it is a true living space to be discovered throughout the year.

Come and meet a blended family that has come together around a common dream: to revise the way wine is produced. Concerned about the environment and the desire to take care of the land and vines, they converted the estate to organic farming in 2013 and obtained the Demeter Biodynamic label in 2020, promoting 7 Tarn grape varieties including Braucol, Duras (for the red), Mauzac and Loin de l'Oeil (for the white). The result is white, red and rosé wines produced in AOP Gaillac and IGP Côte du Tarn, quality products that express the unique flavors of the Tarn terroir. In love with their region and passionate about their work, each member of the Château les Vignals team contributes to the production of these exceptional wines available in the shop alongside local products, or on the website if you are not from the Tarn. Open all year round, the sales cellar has variable opening hours depending on the season, so don't hesitate to ask for information or call before you go.

Château les Vignals, an estate where conviviality reigns

Designated grape agitators, the winegrowers are happy to welcome you to the estate to present their activity, but also their friends the vines which are pampered throughout the year. In the summer, free walks are offered in the heart of the leaves and fruits, a one-hour route which can be punctuated by a picnic for lovers, family or friends. Remember to reserve your basket in advance to taste Tarn products. Summer is also the occasion to meet for an aperitif concert every Thursday evening on the estate, a friendly moment where it is pleasant to toast with a glass of wine from Château les Vignals. The on-site catering is provided by food trucks and local producers who delight your palates, while live music punctuates the evening. Places are limited, remember to arrive early to buy your entry ticket (no reservation or advance sale). You can also extend the evening at the Maison La Fauvette , a magnificent villa surrounded by a vast chestnut park.
