    • Domaine Vayssette, independent winemakers located in the heart of Gaillac

Passion, transmission, heritage … This perfectly reflects the work of a family deeply in love with their land, who have been cultivating the rich clay-limestone soils of the Tarn region for three generations. Located in the heart of the first slopes of the Gaillac vineyards, Domaine Vayssette is a unique place where the grapes express themselves fully, offering wines of exceptional quality to be savored.

Wine tasting offers available all year round in Gaillac

Whether you're an amateur, a passionate enthusiast, or a connoisseur, you'll be delighted to meet a family with a rich history, happy to welcome you to their estate. With quality facilities, they invite you to discover the secrets of Gaillac wine through a variety of experiences:

      • Wine workshops (guided tour of the estate, visit to the botanical trail, themed evenings around wine, immersive days to become a winemaker or a pruner for a day.
      • Guided tastings in the tasting room, guided tours of the vineyard and cellars, group services…
      • Bike rides around the estate
      • Summer aperitif concerts

But also the provision of a reception room in the heart of the vineyards to organize professional or private events.

A sublime estate to discover in the Tarn

The story begins in 1930 when Jacques' grandparents settled in Gaillac, later joined by their son and his wife Maryse, and then by the third generation with Patrice and Nathalie. Overlooking the Tarn Valley, Domaine Vayssette has modernized over the years while preserving winemaking traditions and family expertise to maintain the authenticity of Gaillac wines. From 7 hectares, the vineyards have expanded to 26 hectares, offering a sublime landscape that evolves with the vine's cycle. Braucol, Duras, Prunelart, Loin de l'Oeil, Mauzac, Muscadelle, and Ondec, the typical Gaillac grape varieties, are interspersed with complementary varieties such as Syrah, Gamay, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Sustainable farming practices certified as HVE (High Environmental Value)

Since 2016, the Vayssette estate has been certified as High Environmental Value (HVE).

This label guarantees environmentally friendly practices and the preservation of rich biodiversity at the heart of our vineyards. By choosing these carefully crafted wines, you support responsible and authentic viticulture, driven by the pride of Independent Winegrowers.

From vine to bottle, every step respects the grape.

Harvested by hand, vinified without artifice and aged patiently in barrels or amphorae, it reveals all the richness of the terroir.

At Domaine Vayssette, you will find sincere, vibrant wines full of emotion.

Find all the wines from Domaine Vayssette on their online shop, and enjoy special benefits by joining the estate's Wine Club.

Excellent experience! Around fifty fellow Gadz'Arts classmates gathered there for a tasting and dinner… A passionate and dedicated winemaker, a supportive team around him, vibrant and crafted wines (special mentions to Clémence, Léa, and Maxime 😉), in short, a truly wonderful place 👏
