Passion is what has united Justine and Damien over the years. Having fallen under the spell of the incredible world of wine at a very young age, they are now at the helm of their greatest dream: Domaine du Courbiès. It is in the heart of the Aveyron region, in Conques-en-Rouergue, 30 minutes from Rodez, that they welcome you with a smile, delighted to present the estate they took over in 2024. Between history, tours, discoveries, and tastings, what a pleasure it is to meet these passionate individuals!

Authentic and characterful wines with organic farming certification

Domaine du Courbiès began as a family estate run by Florent and Brigitte, two lovers of the Aveyron region who lovingly cared for the land and its bounty. In 2024, after a year of transition, Justine and Damien took over this unique winemaking heritage, eager to breathe new life into the wonderful work done by Florent and Brigitte. This led to the creation of a processing and sales facility, conversion to organic farming, and the opening of a tasting room.

Their objectives?

• Preserving traditions while adding a touch of modernity with authentic and characterful IGP and AOC wines that reflect the generosity of Aveyron.
• Being as close as possible to visitors to share their expertise and passion

A rich history that shapes Aveyron

If you have a little extra time, extend your visit to Domaine du Courbiès to discover the beautiful story of passion that has been passed down through generations. This story dates back to the 9th century, when the first recorded sales of vineyard plots were documented by the monks of Conques-en-Rouergue. Florent's father took over the vineyard work, followed by Florent himself and Brigitte, who were even the first to apply for the Marcillac AOC designation in the commune of Conques-en-Rouergue. The estate has grown, the vineyards have evolved, and new projects have taken shape—a promising future that Justine and Damien are delighted to welcome you to the Domaine.
