A story written over generations

The love of vines and the terroir is not new to the Teulier family, who have been promoting the region's wine riches since 1882, when Dominique, Philippe's great-grandfather, settled here. Year after year, the estate grew and obtained the VDQS label in 1964, then the AOC in 1990, allowing it to produce a wine that is still legendary in the Vallon de Marcillac: Lo Sang del Pais. Today, the Domaine du Cros covers 34 hectares, 30 of which are in production, headed by Philippe, but also by his son Julien, who joined him in 2004. A beautiful family story and passion that has been passed down for 4 generations.

An area that respects the environment and the land

Patience and know-how are the key words of the 2 winegrowers who intervene as little as possible on the vines to preserve the authenticity of a unique grape variety, Fer Servadou. Also known as Mansois, it is the typicity of Marcillac with its ancient origin and its rarity, giving the wines an exceptional character for the AOC Marcillac which is one of the smallest appellations in France. Red, white or rosé, the wines are deliciously fruity thanks to the typicity of the red clay soil and the influence of 3 climates (Mediterranean, continental and oceanic), optimal conditions complemented by respect for the terroir.
