Domaine Croizat, the evolution of a family estate in Marcillac

It all began in 1988, when Philippe took over his parents' business. Upon his arrival, he expanded the vineyard from 1 hectare to 3.5 hectares, and obtained the AOC Marcillac, an appellation renowned for its quality wines. The story does not end there since in 2021, he was joined by his nephew Olivier who allowed him to develop the vineyard over 6 hectares, and to evolve the range. Proud of their career and passionate about their profession, Philippe and Olivier now offer a range composed of 3 red wines and 1 rosé wine, vintages to be tasted in the cellar after a visit to Domaine Croizat.

Domaine Croizat, wines to be enjoyed without moderation in Marcillac

The star grape variety of Domaine Croizat is Mansois, also known as Fer Servadou. Planted on hillsides on clay-limestone soils and sometimes on terraces, it produces wines with a lovely purple color. for the reds, and with deliciously fruity aromas for the rosé. The 400L oak barrels from the Orion cooperage installed in the vast vaulted cellar allow us to obtain quality wines , aged using sustainable agriculture. Labeled Vignoble & Découverte , Domaine Croizat is the perfect place to discover AOC Marcillac wine, alongside Philippe and Olivier, passionate professionals. Since the beginning of the year, it has also the HVE (High Environmental Value) label. Groups are also welcome and can book a special moment around a buffet for up to 20 people, made from Fresh, local, and seasonal produce. Discover Marcillac as you like it at any time of year!
