Tomatoes, zucchini, artichokes, garlic, shallots—summer produce is replaced by cabbage, potatoes, and squash when the weather turns cooler. A market gardener but also a grain farmer, he sows six different cereals in open fields across 70 hectares of land to obtain seeds for poultry and chicken feed.
