- Katalpa Canoë offers kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals for trips down the Tarn River, just 15 minutes from Millau. Suitable for all levels, the site offers various routes ranging from 7 to 24 km, for 2-hour trips to 2-day adventures.
  Among the available routes, you can choose short, family-friendly descents like Peyre-Comprégnac, intermediate-level routes like Millau-Comprégnac or more demanding descents like Millau-Candas.
  For adventurers, a two-day itinerary is available, including a night bivouac at the Katalpa campsite. All our itineraries feature magnificent landscapes, including the Millau Viaduct and the troglodyte village of Peyre.

We've kayaked several times in different departments, and everything was top-notch. The reception on the phone and on site was most pleasant. Everything was very well explained, from the route, viewpoints and warnings, to the instructions, etc. We did a 12km trip between Millau and Compregnac. The descent was by far the best we've done. There was enough water to avoid touching the bottom 😉, some very nice rapids, and great viewpoints. Finally, there was no time limit, which allowed for stops to refresh, take photos, or have a picnic. Kayak rental on a human scale was a real treat 🙂

A wonderful canoeing experience between Compregnac and St. Rome-du-Tarn, with very little canoeing! The manager was very welcoming and enjoyed telling us about the area on the way back! A real pleasure!
