- Katalpa Canoë offers kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals for trips down the Tarn River, just 15 minutes from Millau. Suitable for all levels, the site offers various routes ranging from 7 to 24 km, for 2-hour trips to 2-day adventures.
  Among the available routes, you can choose short, family-friendly descents like Peyre-Comprégnac, intermediate-level routes like Millau-Comprégnac or more demanding descents like Millau-Candas.
  For adventurers, a two-day itinerary is available, including a night bivouac at the Katalpa campsite. All our itineraries feature magnificent landscapes, including the Millau Viaduct and the troglodyte village of Peyre.

You won't believe this, but imagine canoeing on a river with hardly any traffic (a far cry from the Hérault and Ardèche rivers where there's a constant stream of canoes), where at times I found myself completely alone—what a treat! Beautiful little beaches in a crystal-clear river, surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for stopping for endless swims! Seeing and passing under the largest bridge in the world, the Millau Aqueduct (go France!). And to top it all off, Émile, always there to help, is happy to share his home and the joys of canoeing with you.

An exceptional experience with Émile, our kayak rental owner in Compégnac! A true enthusiast who offered us much more than just a briefing: a real immersion in the history of canoeing, recounted with passion and clarity. His friendly approach and safety explanations were excellent, simple, and effective. The icing on the cake: his anecdotes about the Millau Viaduct captivated the whole family. There were six of us, and everyone loved it! I recommend it 10,000%!
