In the museums of Aveyron, you will find the remains of the Knights Templar. In the Middle Ages, they founded several commanderies on the Causses plateaus. The Albigensian Crusade also left its mark on the region and numerous traces. The Aveyron department roughly corresponds to the former province of Rouergue. It is a rural and authentic region. Many traditions endure, and its culture is rich. It also boasts ancestral know-how and traditional, typical crafts. Located near Gascony, between the gorges and valleys of Aveyron, it is an agricultural and livestock-farming region that offers us many local products.
