Palanges waterfall Nature Reserves in Agen-d'Aveyron

Not far from Rodez, the Palanges waterfall is located on the outskirts of the Forêt des Palanges, in the town of Agen-d'Aveyron. It is a large, two-tiered waterfall nestled in a wooded environment. A family walk takes you there. It is quite short from the parking lot. Nevertheless, it is a forest trail, which requires some equipment: good shoes, warm clothes. Also avoid strollers or bicycles for children. In summer, you can take a dip there, although the water remains very cool all year round.

Hikers will most enjoy the path that overlooks the waterfall. He climbs into the forest, before revealing the entirety of the waterfall to you. To see it, you will have to lean a little into the void, be attentive to children! From the top of this hill, you also enjoy a beautiful panorama. This hiking loop is without particular difficulty, except for a nice climb at the start and a somewhat steep and stony route.
