    • Château les Vignals, an exciting wine tourism experience offered in the Tarn

There are many ways to discover wine and the work of the vineyard, combining a walk, gastronomy, a convivial atmosphere, and a tasting in the heart of the Gaillac vineyards. Head to Château Les Vignals in Cestayrols, 20 minutes from Gaillac, for an enriching wine experience alongside passionate winemakers.

Country walks in the heart of the vineyards in the Tarn

How about discovering wine by starting with a pleasant stroll among the vines and grapes? Free and accessible year-round, weather permitting (except during the harvest), the guided tour at Château Les Vignals takes you on a journey through seven grape varieties of the region. Spring, winter, autumn, summer—the colors of each season adorn the vines, a sublime spectacle punctuated by encounters with wildlife. Animals also enjoy wandering the estate; keep your eyes peeled for a wild boar, a deer, a pheasant, a hare, a fox… Lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, the walk is suitable for both children and adults, who follow a map to understand the vines and their development.

An outdoor lunch featuring local produce

Between May and September, Château Les Vignals offers picnic packages (for charcuterie lovers and vegetarians alike) to enjoy in a unique setting amidst the vineyards. Rillette, pâté, bread, cheese, crisps, spreads, compote, or almond brittle for a sweet touch— these complete and varied options must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance. Of course, a bottle of white, red, or rosé wine from the estate completes the picnic basket, perfect for toasting in the great outdoors, at the tables provided, or under a canopy if the weather turns rainy.

Summer aperitifs and concerts at Château Les Vignals

The warmer months are perfect for a festive and convivial evening in the Tarn region. Every Thursday evening in summer, Château Les Vignals hosts an open-air aperitif concert where bands playing a variety of music perform for over 1,000 people each night. Food from around fifteen food trucks showcases local producers, while the wine bar offers the estate's own wine as well as non-alcoholic drinks like local apple juice or Gaillac lemonade. Order your drink and meal, then settle in at the large tables set up around the grounds to enjoy your favorite music. Perhaps you'll even feel like dancing after your coffee? Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your ticket via the link: Book Now

      Other events

The estate regularly comes alive with occasional events: flea markets, farmers' markets and other friendly gatherings, organized throughout the year to help you discover our estate and enjoy the beauty of the landscape.

Our programming evolves each season. This summer, we are offering after-work events and a food truck on Fridays and Saturdays at lunchtime.

The added bonus : the option to stay a few kilometers away at Maison la Fauvette, a magnificent villa in the heart of a vast park

Excellent fruity organic wine. Nice and welcoming atmosphere. The person who served us was very professional and friendly (I almost bought the business). I'll gladly go back.
