    • Le Refuge, a mountain restaurant open all year round in Castres

Here's a Castres address your palate won't forget! Located at 15 Quai du Carras on the banks of the Agout River, Le Refuge restaurant is a gourmet spot where people love to gather, and especially enjoy themselves. Savoyard recipes in winter give way to grilled dishes in summer, offering you pure moments of pleasure all year round. Remember to book!

Homemade cuisine to enjoy without moderation at the Refuge in Castres

The restaurant is aptly named, as the Refuge is a haven of indulgence . A lover of good produce and proud of his region, Alexandre is happy to offer you mountain specialties alongside simpler dishes on a varied menu to satisfy all appetites and desires.

In winter, local cheese and charcuterie take pride of place, including fondues (the truffle one is to die for), raclettes, tartiflettes, and more. Generous recipes that deliciously warm the taste buds.

In summer, the plancha and brazier are out for enjoying grilled food on the terrace, as well as salads, tartines, and melon-ham sandwiches, perfect for refreshing the palate. Don't worry, fondues are still on the menu for cheese lovers!

Don't wait any longer to book, the restaurant is open all year round!

The Refuge, a superb mountain and friendly atmosphere

We come for the food, but also for the family atmosphere in this warm restaurant that gives the impression of being at home. With its wooden tables covered with tablecloths, its large mountain landscape painting, the skis and ski poles hanging on the wall, the Refuge offers a real mountain chalet decoration . Sit down and enjoy a good time with family, lovers or friends, the service is as warm as the food. Enjoy!

The food was spectacular and the portions were enormous, the desserts were amazing. And the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back whenever I can.
