    • Auberge Lou Castel, a traditional and authentic restaurant in Nages

If you're looking for a great place to enjoy a meal, head straight to Auberge Lou Castel! Located in the heart of the 14th-century Château de Nages, owned by the Count of Thézan, this friendly and welcoming restaurant is the perfect place to discover local cuisine in all its simplicity. Don't hesitate to book now.

Auberge Lou Castel, an essential address that promotes local produce in the Tarn

What a pleasure to enjoy 100% homemade dishes, prepared with passion. Throughout the year, the recipes evolve according to the seasons, offered à la carte or as a lunchtime set menu from Monday to Friday lunchtime. Fresh and as much as possible local ingredients are carefully selected and prepared to delight your palate with local cuisine, without forgetting the stars of the menu with calf's head and lamb shank. Immerse yourself in history at the Auberge Lou Castel, a restaurant with a medieval setting within the walls of the Château de Nages where the cuisine is of high quality and the dishes are delicious.

Auberge Lou Castel, a lively summer restaurant in Nages

Open all year round, the restaurant welcomes you from lunchtime until evening in the summer. The magnificent shaded terrace is ideal for a well-deserved break, while in winter, the large fireplace in the dining room offers a warm space by the fire. The advantage of these large spaces is that you can gather with several people to enjoy local dishes. In summer, a concert is organized on Wednesday and Saturday evenings, providing a friendly and musical atmosphere to the establishment. The rest of the year, the restaurant opens for dinner only upon request when rooms are rented, since the Auberge Lou Castel is also an accommodation where you can stay in Nages. Spend a pleasant gourmet moment in the restaurant, before heading to digest on the hiking trails or at Lake Laouzas, a few kilometers from Nages.

A meal worthy of Michelin stars for its originality and for bringing back to the fore the dishes of our grandmothers. Bravo to the cook and the waitress deserve just as many compliments, a smile and this professional side with a magnificent setting, thank you for this magical moment.

Traditional cuisine, very well executed, up to scratch. We had a blast! Delicious homemade fries, tasty candied vegetables. Starter, main course, dessert: everything was perfect. Calm and pleasant service, a truly good time. We highly recommend this place to lovers of traditional French cuisine and for the setting!
