    • Le Relais de Fusiès, a restaurant that reveals the riches of its terroir in Lacaune

Before opening the menu, take the time to admire this sublime, fully renovated Maison de Maître, the pride of Jason Dupuy-Karrer, the happy director of this local institution nestled in the heart of the village of Lacaune-les-Bains since 1690. Surrounded by a young and dynamic team, he invites you to experience an unforgettable culinary moment at any time of the year, whether for a business lunch, a romantic dinner or a pleasant family meal. Enjoy your meal!

      Homemade, local and seasonal cuisine

What a pleasure to discover the Tarn region through carefully prepared traditional recipes. Passionate about his work and a lover of the region, chef Julien Fanjaud creates menus that evolve with the seasons to surprise your taste buds with every bite. From Lacaune charcuterie with the IGP Apalhat pig, to Fabre dairy and Chevriers de la Tome Ronde (Round Tome goats), to Tarn beer "Saint-Victor," the ingredients are gems from local producers, enhanced by every touch of the chefs. Whether on the menu or à la carte, let yourself be seduced by varied offerings with local flavors, such as Aubrac beef steak and split pea purée with Gaillac wine. Set menus with food and wine pairings perfectly complement your tasting with local wines, while a children's menu allows little ones to learn about gastronomy.

Are you a professional? Don't hesitate to specify; the service can be fast while maintaining the establishment's refined character.

High-end services at the Le Relais de Fusiès restaurant

You will be won over upon your arrival by a warm and smiling welcome. Whatever the season, the restaurant has some lovely surprises in store for you, starting with a privileged setting, in winter as in summer. In summer, the pretty glass roof and the beautiful shaded terrace are very popular, outdoor spaces that have nothing to envy the sublime dining room. Bright and elegant, it is perfect for enjoying the chef's cuisine, surrounded by 18th century-style paintings. Once you are seated and your menu ordered, the Maître d'Hôtel Marine Alexandre takes over to present the wine list, made up of regional vintages, most often organic, and a very fine cellar with more than 200 wines and spirits. Once the meal is over, how about having your coffee or a digestif in the cozy bar with fireplace ?

The Relais de Fusiès, an unmissable gastronomic stop in the Tarn.

The little extra : The establishment is also a 30-room hotel which offers overnight stays and a sumptuous buffet breakfast.

Opening hours : Le Relais de Fusiès is open every evening until November from 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. (arrival time), and at lunchtime from Tuesday to Sunday from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 1:45 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (arrival time)

A romantic weekend getaway thanks to a gift voucher. The waiters were incredibly kind and friendly, with a great sense of humor throughout the meal, as the menu was a special romantic surprise. The meal was generous and absolutely delicious, so much so that we didn't even have room for dessert. The night wasn't great due to the heatwave; we were woken by people shouting in the street and others heading to breakfast at 7:00 AM. But that's a minor detail. You can't fault the hotel for being disrespectful to its guests, especially since we were warmly welcomed, had access to the hot springs for an hour and a half, and were treated to afternoon tea and an aperitif with champagne. I still recommend going, because treating yourself once in a lifetime can't hurt.
