Lake of the Monks Nature Reserves in Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac

The Lake of the Monks is an artificial body of water, in the heart of the Aubrac Regional Natural Park. It is located not far from the charming village of Aubrac, on the border between Aveyron and Lozère. It is a very easily accessible family site, on the D987, with a parking lot for you to park.

This fishing lake is a first-rate fish reserve, which makes it a famous fishing spot. You can also take beautiful walks on the trails around the lake, relax by the lake or have a picnic with your family. From the top of its 1300 meters of altitude, you will make beautiful shots of the Aubrac landscapes.
