The Lake of Galens Nature Reserves in Soulages-Bonneval

The Lake of Galens is located in the north of Aveyron, in the town of Soulages-Bonneval, near La Gardelle, just 10 minutes from Laguiole. It is a natural space, in a rural area, in the middle of fields. To take advantage of the site in all seasons, there is a short hike that goes around the lake. The banks are wooded and very pleasant. A picnic area is also available. A path leads you up a hill, from where you will have a clear view of the surrounding meadows.

It is a swimming lake, where you can rent a few boats during the summer. A sandy beach allows you to relax there, while the children have fun. Swimming is safe here with two areas: a small and a large bath. It is also supervised during the summer.
