The lake of Maury or Lac de la Selve Nature Reserves in Saint-Amans-des-Cots

In the town of Saint-Amans-des-Cots, there is a large body of water, divided into two parts forming a "V". The Selves is a river in Aubrac which feeds the Lac de la Selves. On the other side, it is mainly the waters of the Selvet which are collected. Following the construction of the Barrage de Maury, the valley was thus flooded to provide hydraulic power.

An aquatic leisure center is set up there during the summer, offering you all kinds of games and activities. You can also rent paddles or other boats to see all the facets of the lake. It is also possible to fish there. Moreover, every year the predator fishing competition takes place.

In Saint-Amans-des-Cots, another curiosity awaits you: its Minér'Aubrac exhibition, which displays a wide variety of mineralogical collections.
