  • English
    • The Jonte Gorges are part of this mountainous area of the Massif Central, at the junction between Aveyron and Lozère. They are also located not far from the Gard and it is an interesting crossroads for visiting these three departments. These gorges are particularly deep and form a spectacular environment, conducive to all kinds of sports and nature outings.

Climbing is a key activity here. You will be able to take the height to admire this breathtaking landscape. You will rub shoulders with the vultures that nest there, for an unusual contact with nature. And to take the measure of these impressive cliffs, why not treat yourself to a short canoe trip ? If you are rather a fan of old stones, do not miss the visit of the Château de la Peyrelade.
