The Saut de la Truite Waterfall is one of the points of interest in the charming town of Lacrouzette. It is located in the Sidobre region, north of Castres. This town includes several natural sites and offers many possibilities for walks or hikes.
The route that takes you to the waterfall is short but intense. The drop is very strong and this path is not passable with pushchairs. It is aimed more at good walkers. Once at the top, you will appreciate the spectacle of this waterfall, nestled in an environment of great beauty. It is a green setting, which deserves to linger. You can cool off there during the summer, but the surroundings are slippery and can be dangerous for young children.
The small town of Lacrouzette has more than one trick up its sleeve and you will find other natural areas there, such as the Pic des Fourches and La Peyro Clabado, or the Blackbird Lake. It is also a gateway to Sidobre, a favorite spot for hikers. In the village, linger over the astonishing sculpture by Jacques Bourges, the 12th century washhouse fountain, the Chemin de Provinquières and more…
