The Arifat waterfalls have their source in a kind of crevasse, more than 80 meters high! Nevertheless the waterfall is not so impressive because there are several floors. A hiking loop of about 3 km takes you there. The trail is aimed more at good walkers, because it is not developed. You will therefore pass slippery portions in winter, stony, and steep. On the other hand, if the site may seem a little difficult to access, it retains a wild and natural character. Nature lovers are in for a treat.
A suspended footbridge spans the river and enhances the walk. This is a very popular passage for children! For those who want to complete their visit with some old stones, stop at the medieval site of the Castle of Castelroc. It is run by passionate volunteers from the Middle Ages, who bring this thousand-year-old tower and its estate back to life.
