    • The Petrifying Waterfall of Saint-Pierre-Livron is located in the northwest of Tarn-et-Garonne, in the town of Caylus, in the hamlet of Cabannes. It is the high concentration of limestone from the Livron river that gave it its unusual shape. At the foot of the waterfall, a natural basin has formed. Its turquoise blue waters are absolutely beautiful!

      The site is visible directly from the D97 road bridge. If you prefer a walk, it is located 2 km from the village of Caylus and about 20 minutes from the Sanctuary of Notre Dame de Livron. A hiking trail also takes you there from Lacapelle-Livron.

      Swimming is prohibited there, but it is a pleasant place in summer, even if the waterfall is often dry during this period. A cave is accessible behind the tuff of the waterfall.
