  • English
    • The Bruniquel rock shelters form an archaeological site, in a very natural environment, on the banks of the Aveyron, between the Tarn and the Tarn-et-Garonne. The archaeological dig area has already revealed the presence of two human skeletons and has yielded tools and artistic pieces, including engraved portable art and musical instruments. The shelters were inhabited during the Magdalenian, one of the last prehistoric periods.

A hiking trail takes you close to the shelters and allows you to realize the quality of life of its inhabitants at all times. In Bruniquel, 15,000 years of history are within your reach. In a meander of the Aveyron, Bruniquel is a perched village, on the side of a cliff which also offers you a breathtaking view of the beautiful landscapes of the Tarn-et-Garonne.

Randoland offers you a fun family outing, in the form of treasure hunts, with puzzles to solve, depending on the age of your children.
