In 2025, the Castres Tourist Office and Eaurizon Castres have decided to offer you an original outing on the Agout by canoe or kayak to discover the city and the beauty of its surroundings in a fun and sporty way along the water. Accessible to young and old alike, this activity on the beautiful Tarn River is divided into 2 routes to suit everyone's desires:

• The 5km “Discovery” trail, lasting 2 hours, is perfect for crossing some rapids and admiring the magnificent gardens of Castres and the houses along the water.
• The 6km "Traversée" route, lasting 3 hours, takes you to the city center at the foot of the magnificent houses with multi-colored facades of former tanners, an opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of Castres' heritage.

The Agout River is a green setting that you will be delighted to discover at the pace of your paddles.
