    • Since 1994, Auvillar has been classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France", so don't miss out on visiting this magnificent village, on the banks of the Garonne. Located on a rocky outcrop, on the road to Santiago de Compostela (Via Podiensis), you will see an astonishing and unique (in the south-west) grain hall, circular and on columns. It is a tourist and artistic place, with many art galleries and a museum which presents a collection of earthenware made in the city in the 18th century. Also admire the brick Clock Tower which houses the Boat Museum, Saint-Pierre Church, Sainte-Catherine-du-Port Chapel.
