Hello, I would have preferred to send an email to give my feedback, but the email system isn't working. I was delighted to spend a night at your campsite. It's nicely wooded, the lake is charming, the pitches are spacious, and everything is clean. The welcome was pleasant and friendly. I do have one minor complaint regarding the price: €32 for a campervan and one person is the highest price I've paid in the two months I've been traveling between Haut-Languedoc, Ardèche, Gard, and Lozère... Especially considering I've been to more touristy areas where the scenery is more remarkable (I'm not talking about the very touristy places I avoid, but this little corner of the Tarn isn't the most exceptional). For this price range, the restrooms don't offer things like toilet paper, hand towels, or a hairdryer. I don't want this comment to be considered a criticism, but simply an observation that could be taken into account when analyzing the low occupancy rate I noticed (I'm not an expert either).

This campsite boasts a beautiful setting and real potential, which is unfortunately not being fully realized. The environment is pleasant and peaceful, with plenty of shaded areas, a lagoon with slides, and a children's playground, all situated on the edge of a lake. It's regrettable that the staff seem to work in conditions that don't respect their well-being, even though they do their best and are very pleasant, both those responsible for maintaining the mobile homes and those responsible for the pool. On the other hand, the lack of maintenance is very noticeable, both in the common areas and in the accommodations. The campsite paths are badly damaged and full of potholes. The lagoon, despite daily maintenance that we observed, has rather murky water and a strong smell of mud. Regarding the mobile homes, the disappointment is even greater. When booking, we specified that air conditioning was an essential requirement. We were assured that it wasn't necessary because the temperatures remained pleasant. In reality, this was completely false: the heat inside the accommodation was stifling (even with several fans). The upkeep of the accommodations also leaves much to be desired: badly deteriorated and sometimes dangerous wooden decks, window sills covered in dirt and leaves, a rusty refrigerator, cobwebs, curtains held together with tape… All these details give an overall impression of neglect. It's truly regrettable, because this campsite has everything it takes to offer an excellent experience. With better maintenance and some investment, it could become a very nice establishment. For my part, I won't be returning. I even cut my stay short because the heat in the accommodation was almost unbearable.
