Annikê, an eco-responsible brand in Montauban
Annikê is above all a passionate woman happy to share her love of art and travel with you through unique creations, created with an ethnochic approach. Based in Montauban, she welcomes you to her African hut in the heart of Le Local, a third place that brings together a resource center, a bar-restaurant and artisans. Come meet her, she has so many stories to tell you...
Annikê, a creative universe that invites you to travel
The jewelry created by Annikê is unique, made from scraps of ebony wood recovered from sawmills and horns from small cattle farms in West Africa. Bracelet, necklace, earring, each creation tells a story and Annikê's travels between Europe and Africa, two continents that inspire this passionate designer on a daily basis. An Afropean universe, this is how Annikê defines her work with African and European influences.
A concept store that promotes African know-how and art
At Le Local in Montauban, Annikê enjoys showcasing her work, as well as that of her creative friends she meets during her travels. What do all these artisans have in common? They work with African raw materials: they are weavers, dyers, seamstresses, blacksmiths, painters, and more, creating majestic jewelry from recycled brass, batik kimonos and tunics, woven cotton wall hangings, upcycled bags, and bronze table decorations.
Annikê, ethical and sustainable artisanal creations
Returning to nature, creating a place where art has meaning with traced objects that tell a story, this is the dream that Annikê is realizing in her African hut. Deeply committed to respect for people and the environment, she ensures that no trees or animals are cut down to make her creations, and that each worker is paid their fair value.
Annikê, an eco-responsible brand that is transparent about the origin of its raw materials and brings together passionate artisans it knows personally.
