    • Le Petit-Paris, an unmissable miniature theme park near Montauban

Young and old alike will be amazed at Petit-Paris, a unique park of its kind which opens the doors to an exceptional reconstruction of Paris and France in miniature. After 14 years of creation and investment, Gérard Brion realizes his life-size dream in a garden in the countryside of Tarn-et-Garonne. Open your eyes wide and rediscover Paris from above in this unmissable museum located in Vaïssac, 25 minutes from Montauban.

Petit-Paris, the capital in miniature to admire in Tarn-et-Garonne

Buildings, monuments, waterways and even boxwood cut in the French style, the precision of Gérard Brion's work is astonishing. Model maker, designer and draftsman, this multi-faceted enthusiast has been imagining and creating impressively realistic models since he was 12 years old. Preserved in the Petit-Paris theme park, they offer a breathtaking view of the capital since the 1/130th scale corresponds to a view from 150 meters high. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of life in miniature in a soothing musical atmosphere, and wander the streets of Paris to rediscover the Tuileries garden, the Trocadéro, Notre-Dame-de-Paris, the Champs-Élysées, the Basilique du Sacré- Heart or the Eiffel Tower like you've never seen them. Also discover by leaps and bounds the most beautiful monuments in France, the Château de Chambord, the city of Carcassonne and even Mont-Saint-Michel. Visit to the Petit-Louvre Museum, its collections, its video and its “French cancan” automaton show at the Petit-Moulin Rouge, this is a curiosity that will delight adults and children !

Le Petit-Paris, events not to be missed near Montauban

Open every day from May 1 to September 30, during school holidays and weekends, Petit-Paris is a curious place loved by young and old. Prepare for a grandiose spectacle when the site is lit up with garlands or belle époque street lamps at certain times of the year. In summer, at Christmas and for the holidays, Petit-Paris is adorned with lights and a unique atmosphere that transports you into a magical miniature world. Book your day and let yourself be carried away, without forgetting to stop by the shop or eat an ice cream at the refreshment bar for a much appreciated break.

The owner who created the village runs the attraction, he's very nice and it's a really cute place with all the facilities one would need for an afternoon there (toilet, drinks etc). One of the model cities needs quite a lot of repair which he explained was because he was restoring it, fair enough, the main attraction which has all the videos of him making it by hand seems to have been neglected though. A lot of it looks like with a couple of days work it could be smartened up a lot like putting cars back in the right place and fixing lamp posts so I don't understand why he hasn't been maintaining it, most of the model houses are covered in moss, so while it's still very cute it's also a bit sad to see something which was built so carefully not being looked after so well.
