Calm and serenity await you at the Moulin de Trusse, an authentic stone house dating from the 17th century that invites you to relax. This little corner of paradise, open all year round, is located in La Sauzière-Saint-Jean, 1 hour from Toulouse, and is distinguished by a committed eco-responsible approach. Live a unique experience in a privileged setting, the Moulin de Trusse is a true haven of peace.

Le Moulin de Trusse, a magnificent guest house where you can relax in the Tarn

Take the time to admire this sublime terracotta-coloured residence which rises in a green setting, and let the charm work its magic. Surrounded by a vast green and wooded park, it evokes well-being and tranquility. Inside, like cosy cocoons, the 4 bedrooms inspired by your hosts' grandmothers answer to the sweet names of:

      • Mamie Renne, the most generous with its 35 m2, its terrace and its small living room
      • Mamie Odette, the brightest with a breathtaking view of the park
      • Mamie Lulu, the most flirtatious with her exposed beams
      • Mamie Trésor, the most discreet facing the stream and the bamboos

Each one decorated with particular care has charming surprises in store for you, such as knitting needles, Breton palets, Tarn recipe books (the best ones) or issues of Paris Match from the 1960s. Settle into this refined refuge and let yourself be carried away by the warm atmosphere of this charming house.

Le Moulin de Trusse, wellness services offered in the Tarn

The disconnection is total in the heart of the magnificent park of the Moulin de Trusse where a stream flows accompanied by a waterfall. Like a little hidden gem, this space offers you a gentle break in all simplicity. The heated swimming pool and its turquoise colors are an invitation to swim, a special moment to experience in the calm of nature, before strolling in the bamboo grove. On your return, settle into the pretty kitchen open to the garden where Baptiste invites you to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Freely accessible throughout the day, this space allows you to cook your meals in complete freedom in a gourmet and friendly atmosphere with sometimes other guests. Under the framework of the Moulin, Stéphane offers massages, including his signature massage, treatments adapted to your needs for a pleasant letting go. The Moulin de Trusse is an oasis of greenery, dive with delight into this bubble of well-being to experience an enchanted interlude.

Le Moulin de Trusse, many activities to discover in the Tarn

Visit hilltop villages, museums or historical sites, culture lovers will be delighted. Caring and available, Baptiste is happy to show you the must-see places in the Tarn to get off the beaten track, hiking trails to appreciate the magnificent landscapes of the region and good addresses to treat yourself to local cuisine. Passionate about his terroir, he also offers Gaillac wine tasting workshops, the opportunity to share a good moment of indulgence in a privileged setting.

The little extra: An eco-responsible house committed to water management, energy optimization, waste reduction and soft mobility.

I chose Moulin de Trusse for a few days of peace and quiet, and what a great choice it was! I received a very friendly and warm welcome, a very clean, well-maintained, and spacious room opening onto nature, with high-quality bedding and linens! This was much appreciated! The mill is located in the heart of lush greenery, which immediately creates a relaxing atmosphere. At the end of October, I obviously couldn't use the pool, but I received excellent massages from Stéphane. Baptiste is incredibly attentive, preparing delicious breakfasts served in a very welcoming kitchen… I felt like I was in a charming little hotel! He is also very available (without being intrusive) and offers excellent advice; in short, everything is perfect! And it makes you want to stay longer! 😁

We had a very pleasant experience at the Moulin de Trusse this summer. A two-night stay in the heat of the summer (42 degrees Celsius), but the wooded setting, air conditioning, and pool allowed us to really enjoy it. A warm welcome in a charming setting. Baptiste and Stéphane offered us a concept that was a bit different from the traditional format, and it was very good. We chose between self-catering and very friendly small workshops on site (we did wine tasting and made natural skincare products), and the breakfasts and meals offered were of high quality. You can also cook your own food in the fully equipped kitchen, which is at our disposal. We were also lucky enough to share an event with them at a nearby château! In short, as you can see, we highly recommend you discover the Moulin de Trusse and its very friendly hosts; a guaranteed break from the stress. Amélie & Pierrick
