Getting married in the Tarn

Getting married in th ...

The Tarn is a rural department, with a relief marked by the river, the Tarn, which gave it its name and which dug mountains and mountains. It is therefore a country where deep valleys follow one another, nestled between the Monts Lacaune and the Montagne Noire. Its perched villages are very authentic, with a magnificent ancient heritage. It is the ideal place for a quiet wedding, in the countryside.

Where to get married in the Tarn?

For a rather rustic wedding, we recommend the Montagne de Granite sector, in the south of the Tarn. The panoramas are superb and the villages perched on steep cliffs have an unparalleled cachet.

If you like rural atmospheres, you will be seduced by the three valleys of the Tarn, Bonnan and Viaur, or even the "Corn of Plenty of the Tarn". It is a hilly territory, with charming colored meadows and crop fields as far as the eye can see, interspersed with small forest groves.

You prefer the comfort of the city, go to Albi. The Albigensian monuments are of great beauty and you will find many service providers there to accompany you. You want a compromise, between urban services and a city on a human scale, it is towards Castres that you can orient yourself.

The reception rooms

The Tarn has a rich and turbulent history. It was particularly marked by the Albigensian Crusade. Its old buildings have a soul that is still palpable. Lovers of old stones can only be charmed by its castles, mansions and other historical decorations, which will enhance your wedding photos or sublimate your reception.

wedding providers

A wedding is a highlight of your life as a couple and family. You will have to call on many service providers: DJ or presenter, florist, photographer, equipment or decoration rental company... you can't just improvise!

If you don't have a lot of time or don't have a sense of organization, it is better to entrust this task to a wedding-planner. They can take care of part of your wedding or manage everything...it's up to you. They also have the advantage of relying on a good network of local service providers and will be able to offer you good addresses!
