Randonnée à Cheval Quercy

Beautiful path to enjoy

As soon as you arrived at the Domaine de Lausinie, you will be welcomed by the horses, along the way. The owner of the place is called Alexandre Daumerie, he will immediately put you at ease, his passion and his love for horses are communicative!

He will be happy to share his knowledge of riding with you, and will adapt the stroll to your level. He is graduated as a Horse Riding instructor and has a very respectful approach towards the animal. You can also meet Emma Touzac, helping Alexandre manage the estate. Also on this place, there is a hostel specialized in grill over a wood fire (it's an opportunity to discover local products!) - duck breast or confit, steak steak on the embers, foie gras and mixed salads are on the menu ... treat yourself!

Alexandre et Emma : true lovers of horses

No need to be an informed rider! Alexandre will offer you a horse adapted to your level, even if you have never ride a horse. The walks always begin with the care of the horse, because they are enjoying 35 hectares of nature and love to roll in the grass, and the mud ...!

The first contact with your horse will be done with a brush. It is a very important thing for Alexandre, because it allows to weave a first link with the horse. You will also have the chance to sit on a western saddle that is very comfortable for long walks! Let's go Lucky Luke!

You will pass through this beautiful region of white stone, forests, hills and valleys. The walks can last from 1h to 3h according to the program planned in advance with Alexander. It is very funny to visit the village of Lacour on horseback, to turn around the church and listen to the stories of the country told by Alexandre and Emma ..

How to organize your stay in the Quercy Pays de Serres?

With Alexandre it is "à la carte", just call him at 05.63.95.23.31 and agree with him the day and time of the ride. You can also just book to enjoy the hostel and its delicious cuisine! Meat is cooked on a grill in front of you, in the fireplace of the restaurant.

The place is open for lunch: Tuesday to Sunday and evening: Friday and Saturday.

The must will be to program a horse ride followed by a good meal at the hostel!

And if you want to extend your stay in this wonderful part of the Tarn-et-Garonne, we recommend the Gîtes Grand Pré and Roulotte de Roquecor, located 8 minutes from the Domaine de Lausinie. We suggest you spend an unusual night in a caravan or enjoy a cottage in an old stone barn typical of the region.

Une nuit en roulotte cela vous dirait ?
