      Behind the name Le Pâtissier Masqué (The Masked Pastry Chef) lies a philosophy where pastry-making becomes an act deeply connected to the land. Coming from a family of farmers and greengrocers, the creator has infused her Montauban workshop with an absolute respect for the cycle of the seasons, inherited from her childhood spent between the stalls of Rungis market and the raspberry fields. Far removed from industrial standards, this workshop favors an instinctive and sensory approach to dessert.

      Joined by Camille since autumn 2024, the team champions a vision of sweetness where sugar takes a backseat to the pure fruit. Here, creativity knows no routine: every two and a half months or so, the menu is revamped to allow for a fresh creative approach. This perpetual renewal allows them to explore new flavor combinations, guaranteeing a constantly evolving tasting experience for both regulars and visitors to the region.

      The Masked Pastry Chef 's commitment goes beyond mere culinary pleasure. It's a true code of ethics that guides every technical step. To guarantee impeccable freshness and actively combat food waste, the workshop prioritizes responsible production to order (24 hours in advance for cakes meant for sharing), while individual pastries are available daily in the shop for your spontaneous cravings.

      This rigor is reflected in four inseparable pillars:

      • Local sourcing: a drastic selection of organic and local raw materials, promoting direct links with producers in our region.
      • Respect for the natural calendar: the exclusive use of fresh fruit picked at maturity, without ever resorting to artificial additives or preservatives.

    Une véritable pépite à Montauban ! Des pâtisseries aussi belles que délicieuses, avec des saveurs originales et parfaitement maîtrisées. On sent tout de suite le travail artisanal et la passion derrière chaque création. L’accueil est également au top, chaleureux et professionnel. Que ce soit pour se faire plaisir ou pour une occasion spéciale, c’est une adresse incontournable. Je recommande les yeux fermés !
