Lake of Saints-Peyres Nature Reserves in Anglès

The Lake of Saints-Peyres is an artificial plane which collects the waters of the Arn river, thanks to a dam. The town of Anglès is on the border between Hérault and Tarn. The natural site of Lac des Saint Peyres is a calm place, conducive to relaxation and daydreaming. It is relatively unknown, as it is difficult to access. But once there, you will be charmed by the beauty of its environment. Located on the Anglès Plateau, it offers a breathtaking view of the Black Mountain and the Lacaune Mountains!

You can walk around on the forest paths that criss-cross the plateau. There is very little access to the lake and no specific development. These hikes are aimed more at nature lovers than at families with young children. This lake is not authorized for swimming. On the other hand, it is a famous fishing spot.

Anglès is home to another lake, on the Agout river: Lake Raviège, with two leisure bases. The village of Angles has an interesting architectural and religious heritage. There is also a very nice market.
